You don't live near Tears of Joy Video? That is okay, we accept orders all over the USA and Canada. This page will give you instructions on how to get your pictures to us and how you feel like you are part of the project progress where ever you live. Contact us first to tell us about your project before you send it. Read to what our clients say and then continue below for instructions: 

You have two choices of how to get your pictures to us for your montage. 

1) If they are digital we can provide you a link to upload your pictures directly on our site.

2) If you need them scanned we suggest you place them in the order you want them to go.  Either number them with posted notes or clip them together with large paperclip and place them in large ziplock bags before boxing them up to send to us.  If you are creating sections in your video, have separate bags for each section.  If you have a combination of pictures and digital, then digital ones can be uploaded to our site or emailed.  In your printed pictures make a note of file name where the digital pictures are to be placed.

Video clips can be sent over our site if digital and under 2 GB to add to your video montage

Video tapes or films can be mailed to us and transferred (extra charge) to add into your montage

Once we recieve all the pictures we will send you a pdf of all the pictures in order by email and you can okay the order or correct them if some are out of order.  We will then ask you for titles and music and where you want them placed.

Once we start on your project a page will be created like this and you will be able to watch your video and give us ideas of changes and final approval before we send your video and pictures back. 

Please allow a few to complete your order so that we can have time to create it and ship it back to you.

Shipping is payed by our clients if cost is under $300.00 if over that amount we will pay the shipping back to you postal ground USA only-(Does not include Hawaii and Alaska).

We can add video clips to your video that tell the story of your pictures.  We can help you come up with questions and give you instructions on how to interview your subject or friends of your subject to tell your story.  Videos can either be uploaded to our site or mailed to us to add in with your montage.

Once we have started on the book we can provide you with a private link to view the book and give us suggestions for changes or titles you would like to add to the book

Pictures or slides can be mailed to us. We will scan them and send you a pdf of the finished product for approval before mailing them back to you. We can also edit pictures for an extra charge.

Mail us the tapes.  Our prices go by the hours of tape transferred.  We will notify you how much video or film was transferred and send you a protion on video for your approval before we send it back to you.  Video tapes can loose picture quality as they get older.  If you have not viewed them in years, they may not be good quality.  We can only transfer in the quaility the tape produces.  You will get a sample like this to watch.
